Adore the Rain: step by step & video! (Patreon)

You saw the sketch on the previous post, there you go with the two inking steps : light line & plain blacks for hair & basic shadows.

Then I added the elements I needed for the fx I had in mind: droplets of rain and some raining lines. Here I show you the complete rough sheet that was scanned:

After cleaning this and separating the parts, I went to vectorize the drawing in Illustrator, in order to start the colors, step you have at the top front of this post.

Oh and this is were I downscale the mouth, hehe!

For the very first time I made a video of the process, and went further with the little animation stuff with sound fx and music, there you go:
