As shown in the last image, I was going to train my cross-hatching, after watching new vids of comic masters, and the first try-outs were not convincing: I really need to merge my cross-hatching now (you witness on the NIMO comic) & these possible evolution.

In the meantime, for this lovely fanart of the actor you voted for, I played with the dirty details of the background around his body to make it pop as a perfect white skin, hehe! 

The thing is, I love black solids & cross-hatching as rendering on many artists around, but still in my own art I lose the quality of the lines, the inking I've finally reached with the digital tools. Well, I need to work more on that, the journey is interesting!
