I guess it's the first time I show you some raw drawing that has a layout part visible. Here you should of course have the sand ground connected to the rest, but I needed it apart in order to put it in the foreground / top of everything in the double-page in the layout. I finally changed a bit my creation, but you get the idea.

Also, I had to move the torn apart blanket to mix correctly with the other panels.

On another note, this huge panel was a mountain so high to climb in my head for years! I imagined this scene for a very long time and it was so hard to wrap my drawing skills around it. But I'm pretty satisfied with the end result: I wanted to convey the emotion, the surprise and the confusion at that specific moment in the story.

The completion of the third chapter is gonna be such a relief, and a win for me, YAY!
