There's something when you draw, sometimes, when it's going right to you. It happened to me through the years, even during the LUST comics era when I felt I conveyed the right expression at the right time.

Here it is less about the face expression, the tears I drew, than the hands. Their pose was a last call while storyboarding, and they reinforce the vulnerability. I really like this panel, no matter the context, dialogue or variation.

Speaking of which, as Eddie was framed above the belt in the page, once again I got rid of the pants! I like the suspenders hanging above the jockstrap. The lovely yellow color tenderly picked by Luis!

It's crazy to me how much the hands can be talking in general. What's funny is that the hands are one of the hardest part to draw, especially if you go for realistic rendering. Through the years I have learned so much & I'm always thrilled to draw them in a new way. You know, like with our latest *little* project! ;-)
