Wow, I'm really glad to sit in front of my computer again!

Right now I'm really excited to start working on my game(s) again and the good thing is that I have a lot of free time now, so I will do my best to get the next update for MoM out as fast as possible.

I will also try to be more active from now on and I will post weekly updates about the current development progress on my patreon.

I'm also already collecting suggestions for my next big RPG Maker game. I guess some of you are now thinking: An RPG Maker game again? Or: You barely started working on Mind over Matter and you are collecting ideas for a next game already?

Well, yes. Everything is already planned out. The game mechanics of MoM are all done and all I really have to add are more renders and text.

And yes it's gonna be an rpg maker game, I gained a lot of experience while working on Bandits Assault and I will do a lot of things different and better(!) this time. I will also use the new engine (MV instead of VX Ace).

So MoM should be done within the next few months. It wasn't supposed to be a big game in the first place, it was more like 'a little game where I can try something different and gain some new motivation for my next big game', and hell I'm motivated right now!

So what will be different? What suggestions can you make? Well click me gentle and find out about it!

Thanks again to everyone who supports me! Keep playing naughty games!

First welcome back and I glad to hear you are ready to rock and roll. I have one tidbit of knowledge about MV that many developers miss. It has a memory overflow problem because it will load pictures into the computer's memory but does not unload. As I am not a programmer, I am not aware of how to work around this problem, but I do know that a work around does exist.

Thanks. I know about that, I will have to download the newest updates and check out if this is still the case. But they should have fixed this already, this problem is known since 8 months or more. If not, I will have to fix it myself.

I know Boomatica, another game developer had to download some plugins to work around that flaw. He has a Patreon and is also on Hypnopics Collective.

Welcome back! I like games with slow transformation and corruption, or an unwitting MC that makes what seems to be innocent decisions or misinterpretations and ends up changed and headed down the wrong path. I don't like a lot of game over threads. That said, I am thinking of a pnecessary helot of having the MC having a quest to safe his or her home town by learning a spell or obtaining an artifact to beat a demon that has taken it over. But to do so, the MC finds out there are a series of steps in multiple towns that has to be done and to get the items that involves corruption and physical changes for the fast route or not as dramatic for the slower route. There could be battles to find the items but he or she would need money to upgrade equipment to win those battles or to be changed to use new spells for combat.
