Hello Adventures,

This month has seen The Book of Many Things and Heroes Feast adventures completed, the 5e system 2.4 released, with some very exciting (although breaking changes), the Pathfinder 2e Remaster land, and, also, I have spent a good few weeks reworking some of the feature, class and race parser to support new 5e advancement structures. This is still ongoing but required by the ongoing project to improve generic feature/class munching.

We have also had some exciting news about third-party content on DDB, a Grim Hollow adventure book (available to buy now, and available via Adventure Muncher at some point next week), and Dungeons of Drakkenheim from Dungeon Dudes available later this month.

Earlier this month, I put out a poll around version support. Most of you keep up to date fairly quickly. However, there are still a bunch of folks taking a more cautious approach. I'll keep the v10/v11 support for now, and drop v10 shortly after the 5e system release does (this has been on the cards for a while now). I'll then keep a v10 release separate for a while in case any emergency patches are needed.

DDB Importer

  • AC corrections if not using any effect modules.
  • Loxodon Trunk feature can now be used as an unarmed attack, as nature intended.
  • Hold breath stub effect.

DDB Adventure Muncher

  • The Book of Many Things Scene Support. There are a surprisingly large number of scenes (of varying quality) in this book.
  • Improve table formula matching where multiple dice used (e.g. Curse of Strahd random encounter tables).
  • Support for Heroes' Feast: Saving the Children's Menu.
  • Effects which ignore self would not work in SWADE.
  • Tokenizer
  • Non-ray masking algo would not work.
  • When using OSE (and possibly other systems) when using shift to open the file picker instead of Tokenizer the dialogue would not open.
  • Slight CSS corrections for if using custom themes.

Active Auras

  • D&D 5e 2.4 support
  • Support methods for non-legacy transferral.
  • Add more support for multiple types/race targets.

Pathmuncher

  • Feat level detection tweaks
  • Support for Pathfinder system 5.8.0
  • Lumberjack background mapping to Foundry.
  • Support Remaster PF2e version 5.9.0+
  • Some character builds would render all abilities/attributes at 0.
  • Support the latest changes to precious materials on weapons.
  • Typo fix in boilerplate.
