Chris & Kade ( me gushing about my OCs ) WIP (Patreon)

I was possessed with inspiration to make proper reference sheets for some of my oldest characters <3

The blonde cowboy is Chris (+ his alien, Spoon)
The emo cyborg guy is Kade
And the robot cat is Kade's partner (in whatever definition you want to imagine), Shantii

Their story, Empire of Steel, takes place in a borderline apocalyptic world and has a robots vs aliens vibe. TLDR, robots have taken over the earth and the aliens (who have secretly been here all along) finally come out of the shadows and help restore the earth to what it was before humanity destroyed it with their own creations.

I first designed Kade and Chris back in 2012 when one of my biggest fears was the idea of robots taking over the world (and with all the AI uncertainty going on right now, I think that gave me a boost of inspiration to revisit and revamp these guys). I was also super into alien conspiracies at the time, which conjured up this little story that I've grown too attached to after having these bastards living in my head for over a decade.

Idk if I'll ever properly do anything with the story, but these characters are really beloved to me and I hope you like them <3

I've been drawing them throughout the years, and it's > really fun to watch my style evolve over the years. < It reminds me that I'm always improving little by little :D
