May Suggestions and Poll Timeline, and New Poll System (Patreon)

Starting today, we will adding another poll inline with the new Patreon improvement.  We will be including a game character poll beside the usual poll that we do every month.

Nomnom will be posting 3 Polls for each month. Each poll will have different themes. This is to cater different character themes such as animes, movies, games, chibis etc.

HOW DOES IT WORK: 

  • 1st Poll

THEME: Fullsize Anime / Movie / ETC characters - 2 winners from poll

  • 2nd Poll

THEME: Fullsize Game Characters only - 1 winner from poll

  • 3rd Poll

THEME: Chibis - 2 winners from poll


All Polls are posted now on the exclusive channel.

(Please note that the winners for these will be published on May 2022)

And for everyone's visibility, this event will occur every 1st week of month just to be consistent 🙂 Here's the timeline:

That's a very cool approach to tackle the issue with game models vs other fandom suggestions! Thank you! I'm curious how this will play out on Discord and if everyone will follow these new rules 😆

2023-01-20 01:47:42 good idea, to split up. My wish was to make anime as solo, because here a massive anime fans. so i think everything else between anime have no chance anymore. My suggestion are anime as solo and game/movie/ect. but we will see :) Excited about your new artist also <3

I honestly like the idea of an exclusive game category as there are a bunch of us that found this Patreon through some of the great gaming sculpts and have stuck around due to some of the great talent and models that have come out.

yeahr, i understand. but anime is crossing game and movie also. I watched this patreon over month and round 80% of suggestions are anime. so separate anime from other makes everybody happy. In addition, your argument is the same for Movie fans

Inthink it is early to say. Even so, I feel that if anime is solo, it may need to give up a slot. Having said that, maybe give one of its slot to movies and etc.. I feel that having video games contend with movies and others wouldn't be fair since it seems that video games tend to follow the trend of "flavor of the month."

It is still too early to say, but viewing the suggestions in the video game category, obscure gaming characters are now getting more votes since they aren't being mixed or buried in with the anime characters.

Yes, but this argument counts for every category expect Anime. " They aren't being mixed or buried in with the anime characters. " now movies and etc are buried in Anime. Anime is to Almighty. Just have a look at the suggestions in the last month, and you know what I am speaking about. Anyways it is up to NomNom and i repect their choices

I think this is a step in the right direction and I’d love older characters or more obscure ones to get the spotlight. Especially in video games and anime. Maybe change the rule from “nothing from the same show/game in back-to-back months” to every 4-6 months no repeats. I personally don’t need a LOL figure every other month.
