I take it the pre-supported STL prints well? Whenever I slice it in lychee it throws me a bunch of weird random triangles at several layers and I've been putting printing this one off (beautiful work BTW)

If you're talking about the base where there are random black triangles popping, then yes it's happening to me as well when I imported it in Lychee. As long as the layers on the sliced version seems okay, it will print just fine :)
