This show is already very fun! Literally my only complaint is that Grade 1 just feels pretty awkward for me to react to, because I don't really want anyone that young to debut in an industry as demanding and fast-paced as K-Pop. I wish that debut ages in general were older, and for me, 14 years old (international age) should be the absolute youngest any idols should debut. So please forgive me for rooting against the Grade 1 and some of Grade 2, it's not because I don't want them to be successful, I just want them to not debut so young.

This episode saw me falling more and more for Kim Hyunhee, Kim Minseo, and Lee Taerim. It feels too early to declare a 1 Pick, but let me just say that I am IN LOVE with Taerim. I can't wait to watch more next week! I will always include the updated text file of my trainee list so you can all track how much I like certain trainees throughout the show. It's not too complicated to follow: Any time a trainee does something that REALLY grabs my attention, or makes me root for her, I add another star.

My feedback for this reaction is that it was a bit annoying to see you and the chat talking about "the age problem" during most of the grade 1 episodes. When you decided to focus on Yujin's story (the trot segment) and some parts where the girls were showing their skills, it was a lot better. Grade 1 is really talented (they are actually my 2nd favorite grade, after G3) due to their personalities and skills. I also don't want them to debut now but I think you should focus more on the fun aspects of grade 1 and the show. It will be really bothersome if people keep talking mostly about their ages during the whole show. We got it already, it's time to move on. Apart from that it was a really fun reaction overall! Taerim and Hyunhee really are killers! Can't wait to see Soyeon interacting with all these girls!

I'm sorry if you didn't find it enjoyable but the truth is I'm always going to say whatever comes to mind, and the younger potential idols are the harder it is for me to get attached and connected to them. Obviously I can appreciate singing and dancing and rapping regardless of age, so performance evaluations will be largely unaffected. But in the case of any personality based or narrative based content, this topic will undoubtedly come up again, and if it does I'm not going to shut it down because that's how I feel in that moment. I can pretty vividly remember back to when I was 14 or 15 but before that there's sort of an emotional void. I don't remember my hopes, dreams, struggles, and goals before that point so it's like I can't even attempt to connect emotionally the same way I would with other trainees on the show. That being said, this was the first real discussion of it, and I wanted to very clearly set up for everybody where I am at in relation to Grade 1 so that people don't think I'm hating or ignoring them if I don't "react as much." I doubt future discussion of this will be as lengthy and in depth as this first conversation was.
