ELIMINATION SPOILERS AHEAD! IF YOU ARE WATCHING ALONG WITH ME, WATCH BEFORE YOU FINISH READING THIS POST!!!!

Yes this image is my brain directly after the episode ended presented through the medium of crappy photoshop while sleep deprived and sad. To explain a bit, I started with my TOP9 going into the finale, and then added the other debut members.   

Green = happy I won

Blue = scared but maybe things are hopeful

Red = I am sad and scared I will never hear from them again in K-Pop  

ALSO NO HATE TO BAHIYYIH, IT'S JUST A SLEEP DEPRIVED MEME ABOUT HER VOTER BASE WHO I DOUBT WILL EVEN SHOW UP TO WATCH HER DEBUT MV, I ACTUALLY LIKE HER VOICE A LOT AND THINK SHE'S FUNNY.  

I don't know how to process this. I ended up getting 5 out of my TOP9 so I can't complain as much as most people (including my 1 pick Yujin) and I genuinely really like EVERY single member of this group. I am mostly sad about the foreign line (or lack thereof) and sad for Suyeon who just barely missed this and two other groups who are debuting right now.

Obviously what hurts the most is Su Ruiqi not making it. My first pick of people I discovered through this show, who has been nothing but exceptional the entire time. My ACE. MY ALL ROUNDER. MY PRODUCER. MY RAPPER. MY SURY. The worst part is that I think she would have made the final lineup if not for the reveal of the interim ranking with her as 9th. At that moment I knew everyone would panic vote every person below her and she had almost zero chance. It also really sucks to know the reason Korea is so opposed to her is something that will probably keep her from ever getting picked up by another K-Pop company. The good news I suppose is that she is already in Chic Chili and she can produce her own music, so there is a high chance I will hear music from her again if she wants to keep making it, but it probably will never be K-Pop which was her dream. My heart will never heal from Sury's elim.

The other most painful losses are Yurina, Shana, and Suyeon for me. Yurina is obviously really sad because her family distinctly pressured her to not come to K-Pop and because she gave up a potential acting career to participate in this show. (and because Xiaoting will be lonely now) Shana is one of the eliminated trainees most certain to debut soon, and yet she still feels tragic because she will be debuting at MLD, which some would argue is worse than never debuting at all. Suyeon MAYBE HOPEFULLY can still be added back into Mystic's Billie lineup, but if not this week has to be hell for her, since she ALMOST won this show, and now she is watching two lineups she was in debut without her.

I am happy for the girls who made it, but extremely sad for those who didn't. But alas I am addicted to the pain, so I will be reacting to all future K-Pop girl group survival shows, on both Twitch and Patreon, much like this show. We will be starting either this week or next week with MBC's 'Before School Hesitation' and then go right into 'My Teenage Girl' as soon as possible so stay tuned for that.
