This week was a rough one as I had to say goodbye to two of my TOP9 and lots of other girls that I really liked. I am grateful that the eliminations seemed to go significantly faster than early PD48 eliminations, although maybe that is because of the cell system, so we won't know until next elimination round I guess.

I am really sad about Gu Yi Zhou as she isn't in an existing Chinese group, and as far as I can tell I will have nowhere to follow her or support her other than just seeing her Weibo posts. I love how extra she is, how good of a dancer she is, and her low low singing voice. Saying goodbye was hard because I couldn't even find any content to watch as a goodbye tribute like we could for other contestants who got eliminated other than her performances on GP999.

You Dayeon was slightly easier to say goodbye to, only because of this Starship girl group rumor I have seen. Obviously I don't believe it is true, but at least it's a source of hope, and if nothing else I know I can watch all of her YouTube videos, follow her Instagram, and support her in whatever comes next for her. Since I knew based on how Mnet edited her and her cell rank being near the elimination line that there was effectively no way she was going to survive this round I started saying goodbye mentally last week, but it still hurts.
