Ninja Straw Doll, the Youkai Item given by Goddess! (Patreon)

Here is the last update of April 2022... again from my comic [Anime-Tamae! Tensei Maidens] 

Today I want to introduce you new uncommon Youkai character around the wrold... in this time, Ninja Straw Doll from Japan (Akita Prefecture)!

Ninja Straw Doll is a youkai...or a youkai item that appears in Akita Prefecture (Japan) legend!

Once upon a time, there was a martial artists named Ichizo Numata. In a dream, Ichizo met a woman walking on the water and was given a small straw doll.

Ichizo thought, ”This must be a sign from the gods,” and when he carried the straw doll with him, and suddenly he was able to use a number of Ninjutsu (Ninja Powers)!

Ichizo later lost his life when he left the straw doll at home. Since then, the straw doll has been missing...

What a mysterious legend!

It has the attribute of being given by a woman who seems to be a goddess, so I would like to make it into a character in Anime-tamae! world as Maidens' ally character.

Ninja Straw Doll in Anime-tamae! world is...

A Wonderous Youkai item given to the Tensei Maidens by the Goddesses.

It seems to be a different doll from the straw doll in original Akita Prefecture legend...

Not only does it give the owner Ninja powers, but it also transforms itself into a Ninja Youkai to help the owner!

Since one of the powers that the straw dolls give you is ”lighting fire at your fingertips,” I had the Ninja Straw Doll use the fire technique as well.

This time I was able to design an unusual type of character, one that would be an ally of Shinka and Sagiri.
