It tells why "Aka-Ude"(Character in left, looks like a normal Buddhist nun) is called Aka-Ude!

Yes, Aka-Ude is a Youkai who has a huge red arm!

In the original folklore, she showed only her right arm in the big red form... but I imagine, her true form is a huge red Oni (Japanese Ogre)

Aka-Ude's power is most impressive! And, as you remarked earlier, we're only seeing a small percentage of it here. I hope we can catch a glimpse of her full form in the future, I'll bet it's amazing! A red Oni as a nun, now that is an interesting twist, given their reputation for being unruly and violent. I wonder, does she have trouble keeping that side of herself under control?

I imagine Aka-Ude can control her Oni instinct by tranquility of Buddhism... But... in the heat of future battles, can she keep her tranquility? I don't know!

I cant find any information on Aka-Ude. Did you just make her up or does she actually have a history in Japanese Folklore. I really like this character. I kinda want to make a character like her for my own stories.

I guess it is really hard to find source of Aka-ude from internet. I found her from an old folklore book.
