Why Believe (Patreon)

so kind of a parody of the X-Files poster. 

For the past few years i've gotten a little tired of consiracy theories. They've entered mainstream and are, in my opinion, hendering a lot of needed reforms. I'm also tired of hearing the ancient alien theories. I find most of them go hand n hand with racist ideals (enter the Just because white people can't do it doesn't mean it's aliens meme here). 

This picture is a bunch of paper scraps I collected at sprouts when i worked there. THe printer would randomly print these test pages with random letters/numbers/symbols. So I took those and painted them all green and modpoged them onto a piece of bristol paper. On another piece of bristol paper i drew the UFO and cross hatched it for shading and a watered down pen for the beam. I printed off the letters and taped them down to the bristol then painted with black ink around them and after it dried i simply peeled them off. This picture is actually larger and has more of the mountains at the bottom, my scanner is kinda small though. I will be going to a professional shop soon to get this scanned in. I might make prints of it to sell.
