New content has just been added to the eBook "Mile High Shred Metronome Method".
The introduction has been updated, a new section on how to keep your speed gains has been added, and a practice routine example has also been added.
The intro talks about having realistic expectations for yourself, and stresses the importance of having solid rhythm. If your rhythm skills are weak, you will not get fast. Period.
If your rhythm sucks, everything suffers!
The How to Keep Your Speed Gains section discusses submaximal volume training. This type of practice has you playing for longer periods of time at a speed close to your max, but still a speed you can control. This method has been doing wonders for a lot of my students.
The Practice Routine Example section goes through a hypothetical approach to a short scale run, and how I would work towards reaching the speed goal with said exercise. The ideas conveyed in this new section are to help you better understand how to apply the techniques discussed in the eBook.
