it's easier for me to keep track of the order of versions I export. Also I don't need to title it as something like hockeyshep-final-FINAL-3

I don't understand? Why wouldn't you title them 'hockeyshep-final-1' and so on? Are you not aware that you cannot save multiple images with the exact same titles without overwriting the previous files? So for example if you just named sets of images '1', '2', '3' and so on from now on I could never save more than one of those sets?
