Porn Purge (Patreon)

Holy hell! I just got the news, Pornhub has removed and purged about 10 million of it's videos and is flagging all unverified videos!

This is big stuff! i don't know what will happen in the future, maybe they recover from this or the company dies.

Other sites may follow suite as well in the coming days.

From what I can gather Mastercard and Visa did the same thing as they did to patreon and threatened to pull financial handling due to bad PR, some news agency ran a piece saying that PH had underage content and as soon as the finance was in danger PH is now instituting ONLY verified uploaders, ONLY downloads of verified videos through verified accounts. F95 and 4chan's /b/ has a few threads I am looking at now.

I'm all for going against underage stuff but it seems to be a panicked throw the baby out with the bathtub type response here.

My personal worry is that eventually they go after verified content producers and start even more censorship. More so that amateur stuff has taken a massive nosedive and only studio based adult work will be available, PH may only be the beginning of this.
