Urgent News!!! (Patreon)

(Sorry if you're getting too many alerts from me)

So I've just discovered this and it could be BIG BIG news for this site. Now I'm not getting into the politics of it, whether what the banned guy was saying was right or wrong but long story short, as far as I can tell (allegedly):

* Guy gets banned from Patreon.
* Urges his followers to sue patreon.
* California court declares legal costs to be payable by patreon for EACH arbitration claim filed.
* Patreon argues class action law suits (lots of people suing for the same issue) are against it's policy as per terms and conditions.
* Problem is that doesn't apply to before the Terms were changed, meaning that his fans and ANY other banned creator or their fans can sue for arbitration and patreon would have to fund their legal costs.

So you might be wondering why this affects Patreon, me, other adult creators and YOU? Well, IF they decide to sue, where do you think the money will come from?

1) Take money from creator payouts - Creators/donators jump ship and or sue. possible bankruptcy.
2) Take out a loan - Company assets or ownership is in the hands of whoever provides that loan, not to mention if they can afford interest payments. If they can't? Bankrupt
3) Use Saved money - little or NO money left over, bankruptcy probability.
