So I'll confess: I've been dreading the idea of having to move on from Valia: Life of a Succubus, I love it so much and I see so much still that could be added. Rest assured I will be doing it for the next few months and then slowly intergrate another game and slowly build up so it's a smooth transition.

I've been dreading it not just for that but for the fact that I look at Unity and even 2D Rigging and I'm like "Wow, can I really do this?" One day I will but can I really jump the gun here and go straight to Unity? In my mind I see some options:

Go back to video - It's what I started with and what people know me for, I've got to the point where I can start a video and finish it fully with sound in 1 - 2 weeks. From the quality of S Virus 1 to S virus 4 and then I moved onto....

Renpy - After my videos I moved onto making a game, always wanted to and I found the Renpy Engine at first difficult as hell, now there is still a few minor things and tricks to learn but I've learned the basics of image and character manipulation, python and renpy coding etc etc and I used this to create Valia: Life of a Succubus. It caused a MASSIVE split in my patrons at the time. Some thought my videos were my unique selling point and didn't want me doing what most others were doing, others were supportive or curious. It's been good and I don't mind creating another game in this if needs be.

RPG MAKER MV - The next step, or at least the logical one, jumping up to Unity is like mastering the shallow end of a swimming pool and then swimming the English channel, this is more like moving to the adult pool. I'll be honest I have no clue about this but I know with people like Kravenar game team and a few others I can always have support on hand. This would not be as difficult as Unity but would be better for everyone in terms of actually having a game to play and explore instead of clicking a novel.

UNITY (2D) - Like I said this both terrifies and intrigues me, doing something with this even if using playshape sprites (the ones simbro uses) is massive, few people get this far in games development on their own or at least not for a few years of learning or in a team. I'm willing to but in all honesty there's every real chance me or the project could end up bombing if I leap to this too soon. Problem is I don't know when that is.

UNITY (3D) - You may as well put a gun to my head, other than Adeptus Steve with 'Wild Life' I've seen very few developers make 3D sex games, at least good ones anyway. This would be the apex of glory in terms of sex game development but I know my own skills and this is out of my league...for now.

Thought I'd get your ideas on this and how to proceed, don't worry it won't be for months down the line, I won't give out a half baked game.

Also as for a game idea I was thinking a pirate game, how about: 

'Sex Pirates: Call of Booty'?

I remember a certain patron of mine (I will not name him/her unless they want to reveal themselves) and I discussing this, it was that patrons dream, they wanted it so badly they wanted to go into game development themselves just to achieve it. For me it would be nice to know I helped them achieve it before they go. For them to know that their dream exists for real. Besides....pirates can be fun, lots of plunder and precious booty he he he. RPG Maker would be awesome as it already has the tilesets and character dress for it. Anyway let me know what you think.

I like the Pirate idea too, wonder where ya got it from? ;P About RPG maker games.. I've been sick of all those low quality map games where the map ppl look like children and the pixels take me back to the 80's. Only a few devs can pull if off if ya ask me and they do so by good story and higher quality art for sex scenes. I could imagine a pirate game made like "Superpowered", if you know that game? Not exactly like it of course, but movement done with map clicks, possibly with clicks towards other maps and clicks to get into buildings etc. Brothel management would be cool, as one way to earn income and have sex scenes. It should have other adventurous parts as well, like exploring (towns and wilderness), earning up for a ship to go sea plundering, capturing new brothel stock, ransom maybe? Yeah I've thought about such a game for a long time, basic idea was to have an MC that started with little, maybe a survivor from a downed ship who struggled to improve his situation, going from rags to riches. As one goal got completed, he moved on to new goals and in the end controlled a larger empire of different enterprise. The graphic would be important, so would a battle system, am not too keen on how most rpg maker games solves that, though they do have a ready made platform for it, but if it could be more advanced looking, if ya get my drift? ;-)

I really like the "pirate" idea :-) I would be sad if you left the "game dev" genre :-( But I fully understand if you do and continued with only movies. Either way you still have my support :-) Keep it up my friend :-)
