Comic wip BIG GULL Commission (Patreon)

Some folks might of noticed the exclusion of the BIG GULL commission delivery back in March since I only posted the two Lil Coo commissions in that post.  Now I have something exciting to share for the BIG GULL commission!  

It's a bigger commission project than the usual illustration the tier offers.  It's being funded each month till it's completion, so far it's been a pretty neat experiment!  Projected completion is planned for sometime in May.

BIG GULL tier for @Tequila_Koops - Alice and Richard are at the beach and come across Mika the Moth, Alice’s biggest  muscle rival. The idea involves Richard holding Alice back with as  strong a grip he can as Alice is peeved that she’s getting one upped by her rivalry as Mika is flexing.

We went with Idea A, but I have the original thumbs attached as well as the pitch for each thumb idea:

•Idea  A: Richard & regular Alice are walking down the beach with the  ocean on the foreground.  Alice notices something up ahead.  Alice stops  Richard with her arm extended in front of him, it's Mika doing curl ups. A  determined Alice takes a bite into a muscle cookie makes eye contact  with the smug Mika. Sequence of Richard trying to hold her back as she  gains muscles.  Alice prevails and breaks away from his embrace.  Richard is standing awkwardly with his hands empty while  the two muscular rivals pose off on the beach!

•Idea  B: Richard and muscular Alice are walking on the beach while Mika is  reaching down for a power lift with the ocean in the backdrop.  They ll  make eye contact as Richard and Lice approach Mika.  Alice says something to  Mika s Richard holds Alice's shoulders.  Richard moves Alice away while  saying something to deescalate the situation.  Alice pushes Richard back  with her hand and steps closer to Mika.  They exchange friendly rivalry phrases.  The last page is a full-page  pin up of Alice and Mika showing off their big muscles!
