You missed a bit at the beginning of episode 825: the part that preceded the credits WASN'T just recap, it was showing the events that was at the end of 824 but with the focus mainly on Luffy rather than Sanji. If you had watched it you would have seen how Luffy's fight ended and how he got to where he waited for Sanji to show up. You might want to go back and watch it on your own time (maybe make a short video on it if you want to) as it makes an intense start to the episode.
