It is a slur, regardless of uppercase or not unfortunately. The same would apply for other slurs. We don't use the n-word all over the world, not just in america

I’ve seen, via research, that even the majority of people from Australia consider capitalized ABO different than the ab*o version, which is the version recognized as a slur. Even if you go online and look it up, the versions that present it as a slur always have it not fully uppercase/all lowercase, so I don’t believe Mookie is doing anything wrong.

I didnt mean to imply they were wrong, just that for some people it is a sensitive word and topic and I wanted to mention it in case someone didn't dare to speak out. My friends in Australia do not like it when it is written without the slashes, so I try to neutrally let people know from time to time. Again, I didnt mean to offend and to some people the use of the term is very heavy. Each experience is different to each person. I never meant to do any harm with this and I hope I did not offend anyone. Thank you for understanding and offering your perspective. I will not be replying to the conversation anymore, I do not wish to clog this lovely comic with a discussion or anything. Oh no thank you for your input! I recently learned its connected to a slur but I heard upper-casing or using spaces/slashes are OK but I'll remember to add spaces if that is the more appropriate way!
