I may have to eventually move to SubscribeStar (Patreon)

Patreon is apparently banning anime, so I might have to move over to SubscribeStar eventually. Some artists who draw anime have already got their accounts banned because of using the anime style. Anime style = sexualized minors, is what Patreon is pretty much saying.

There seems to be a lot of confusion and misunderstanding about this, but based on my research they are not banning anime. They are continuing to ban sexualization of minors, and some of the new phrasing confused people into thinking it was targeting anime art styles (I believe they just stressed that it *included* minors in an anime art style, as in that couldn't be used as a defense.) So you should be fine.

I have researched as well, and one of the people who got banned supplied images of the anime girls that were the cause of it. Basically, the girl I saw was as old looking as Sandara. Here is the girl that got someone banned: https://i.pximg.net/img-master/img/2020/03/10/23/37/50/72613080_p0_master1200.jpg How Patreon uses the word "Minor" is very vague, and they can define it as however they want. This anime girl could be 20, yet Patreon could decide that she looks 15 for example. So in that regard, people think they are banning anime. Any character with large eyes, is young to them. Patreon doesn't count the big boobs and wide hips as being older. They only count if the face looks young. A lot of my characters have young faces, so for me, it is pretty iffy if I will get banned. I can't imagine however them banning most of their creators.
