Eyechedelic sketches (Patreon)

I drew these spontaneously the other night, and within hours, I'd finalized a new monster. It's never gone that quickly before, but I guess this one just seemed so cute and fun.

I love things that invoke a particular animal without actually being related to that animal - I'm not sure why. Eyechedelic looks a lot like an owl with its face closed, but it's more reptilian than anything else.

The way its mask opens is also a lot like the mouth of a potoo!
