I remember saying these would be fast, lazy drawings, but every time I do one I seem to put a little more effort into it. This one even has several variants! The main, large specimen is modeled after an ABSURD fossilized larval stage for these bizarre parasitic crustaceans. I also said I wouldn't give these extra monsters actual write-ups, but they now each have a short-winded page in the Mortasheen archive.

I did a double take, then I realized, oh yeah, tongue worms are theorized to be related to crustaceans. In fact, "Arthropoid" is an appropriate description of real world tongue worms. I wholeheartedly approve.
