Heya! As promised, I'm back again with the final piece of art to cap off the month--as I didn't necessarily want to leave things with Ren's what-if art as the official monthly piece, given it wasn't a fully rendered thing.

So, I present to this fun piece of everyone's favourite momqueen winding down for the evening with a nice book. As you can see, when she's not on duty and serving as the nation's ruler, she really does like to unwind and slip into something a touch more comfortable than the royal robes that must be...let's say quite tight in the chest area.

I wanted quite a 'sultry' sort of mood for this piece, too, with mood lighting to cast her in a completely different sort of light compared to the radiant way people might view her as a queen. This is quite a personal, private side of the Queen that not many are lucky enough to witness. But who knows, maybe one day our bumbling adventurer-to-be will see this side! We can only hope~

This piece will be bundled together with the momRen art for a double feature in the $15 this month, so I hope you enjoy it! And next month is June, so...gosh...I'll have to find something fun to do with the nun as well!

That'll be me done for this month. Here's to a fun, productive June! Until next time~

Couple very big positives to a matriarchy. Also, was wondering- any idea if the older sprites are going to get redone to bump them up to the quality level of current artwork?

Frostworks

Ah, at this point if I revamped a character's sprite, I'd probably want to do things like get new poses and expressions, which in turn would create a lot of work to go through existing scenes and redo every expression cue, etc. Which was easier to do in the days of the earliest alphas, when I revamped Ren and Cynthia and such--but as of right now, I think the current sprites will remain as they are. But moving forward in future chapters, I'd definitely approach things on a case by case basis and see who could benefit from being redone!
