Heya everyone! As promised, I'm back right at the end of the month with one last treat! Happy Halloween~! I hope you all have a terror-filled night, and hopefully don't gorge yourselves on TOO much candy. This year's been a bit crappy to say the least, so let's take some time to ourselves to kick back and relax over this spooky weekend. That's an order!

For this year's Halloween art, I wanted to do something of a callback to 2018's piece. Which, if you might not recall, was a cast of mischievous prison inmates dressing up as various Quest Failed characters! The very same inmates teased in an April Fools video on the same year, belonging to an old project of mine that I'd very much like to showcase some more one day!

The characters you see above are Katherine and Lisa--with Katherine being the long-haired beauty, and Lisa being the short-haired cutie. They're not related by blood--but definitely have something of a sisterly bond, with Katherine fawning over her adorable little Lisa as if she were both her little sister and her doll. And Lisa, well--she's pretty chill and has the personality similar to a certain hooded girl, so sort of just rolls with whatever.

For their Halloween costumes, I wanted to do something that's admittedly already quite a popular pick for Halloween costume swaps, but couldn't resist! You may or may not have already recognised where their outfits come from, but they are indeed dressed as Morrigan Aensland and Lilith Aensland respectively--two succubus cuties found in the Darkstalkers series! I felt these outfits would fit Katherine and Lisa perfectly, as they both share similar physical traits to each character, and even have the sisterly bond thing going on!

The illustration was drawn by the super awesome and talented Snow--the same artist behind the other illustrations featuring these inmates, along with the Tari present illustration you may have seen before. It's always fun working with her--and I very much appreciate her making this awesome piece on such short notice. I'm really happy with how it turned out, from the intimate posing, to the detail and care taken with the background--and even the complex layering of lighting on top which gives it that little extra pop! I hope you'll enjoy this fun little piece, too and enjoy the rest of your Halloween!

Until next time~
