End of March Update (Patreon)

Heya, everyone! I hope you're all doing well in these super crazy times.
I just wanted to wrap up the end of March with a quick update post to let you all know the status of things, just so nobody is left hanging!
First of all, I apologise for the lack of a proper dev log, since there hasn't been one in a little while. All of my focus right now has been spent powering away on getting the new alpha build out, since there's been a lot of work behind the scenes that's been sapping away most of my energy in the day. But once 0.10 is out, I'll be trying to settle into a more normal schedule again.
On the subject of 0.10--I realise I stated at the beginning of the month that I aimed to have it out in a week or so, and I greatly apologise for drastically underestimating the level of work I still had to do. Needless to say, getting the last bit of writing done took me a lot longer than I expected as I ran into some mental walls with a h-scene. Couple that with the craziness of what happened in the middle of March, and you can imagine we've all been thrown for quite a loop. But of course, I'm not leaning on that as an excuse--simply just one of the many contributing factors to why the mythical 0.10 isn't quite here yet.
I'm happy to say that all of the required writing for this build is done though, and has been for a little while now. All of my focus every day now has been on populating this writing with scripiting and sprite cues to bring it all to life, along with voice clip editing for the new voiced h-scene, and several other voiced CG scenes. I've been slowly powering through quite a lengthy main story event that features multiple characters, all with their own separate eyebrow/mouth/eyes/body variables relating to their sprites, so scripting out a full scene's worth of dialogue ends up draining me quite a bit. This is the last bit of work required now before the alpha build is out, and I estimate a couple more days at the most--and hopefully I can wrap it up before that.
This of course extends past March, which saddens me deeply that I've let you all down once more. But as I say, the offer to backdate people who had the alpha from Feburary will still be in place, and anyone else (that was on the $25 tier previous in that month) that feels potentially letdown beforehand I'll do my best to ensure the new alpha is in your hands without too much fuss. It's been a little bit of a scramble, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel now--and definitely got VERY ambitious for the writing segments in this newest build. I hope you'll feel the quality of the writing reflects this, along with all of the choices given to you.
Thank you again for your immense patience, and I hope to get into the swing of things again next month after this new build is out and I can breathe easy, haha. It's been very stressful knowing I've been letting so many people down and I really am trying to make sure everything is right.
