Hiya there, guys!
How's everyone's summer? Plenty of sunshine, I hope and good food all around~
I would like to open with an apology on the fact the alpha isn't out yet--as things are still being tweaked (last minute changes to some sprite expressions I considered a touch off once I saw them in-game, re-doing some CG elements that didn't mesh well, etc.) and want to avoid this becoming a habit of promising things, only for them to arrive later than expected. It always pains me when things don't work out like they should, and it puts me under a great deal of stress, like I feel I'm failing you guys who support me so much and make this thing possible in the first place.
If anyone perhaps feels disappointed on how things have turned out and purposely upped their pledge for this specific month for the promised alpha, please let me know and I can see about issuing a refund for this particular month, if that's the way you would like to go about it. I'm targeting this month as best I can, and things are being pieced together and edited day-by-day, inching me ever closer to the first release, but understand if people will be upset by the fact that it hasn't materialized yet. I'm gonna try and make this right! Development will however be temporarily postponed over the weekend as I'll be away from home until the end of Sunday--though I'll get to that more in a bit.
As an apology for delaying things a little bit more, I'm attaching a sneak peek at two different CGs featuring everyone's favourite lamia. I wonder what possible reason Matt might have for visiting her once more~?
Also, I posted about it on twitter, but neglected to update on here: A few days ago, the 4th of June marked the FrostWork Patreon's anniversary! Whoo~ It's kinda crazy to see how far things have come in just over a year. I want to do something special for it eventually, but my hands are a bit tied right now with everything and any extra work might just topple everything else over. But I'll keep it in mind for when I have a spare moment to breathe.
I really can't thank you guys enough for believing in me--both old and new patrons alike, all of your support and kind words are what keep me going and motivate me to make the best darn VN I can! Let's hope things survive another year, huh?
Finally, I'd like to say that from tomorrow, 8th of June, I'll be away from home until late on Sunday, 11th of June. Meaning that communication will be limited in that time--though I'll have access to my phone to check on PMs here, emails at unlimitedfrostworks@gmail.com and very, VERY briefly check in on the Discord server. If you have any questions or concerns regarding things, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
