今後の活動方針、投稿タイミングについてのお知らせです。

長いので先に結論から書きますと
これまで「その月の31日までに投稿し、翌々月(約1ケ月後)から過去動画扱いにする」という自分ルールを作り、2年間続けて参りましたが
今後は「その月の31日～翌月7日までに投稿し、翌々月(約3週間～1ケ月後)から過去動画扱いにする」という形に変更させて頂きたいと思います。
(支援者様への影響はあまりありません)


理由は、月末に投稿を間に合わせるよう、ほぼ毎回徹夜を繰り返して無理をしていたため、プライベートが忙しくなっている今、ついに体調にも影響が出始めたからです。


31日23時59分とかに投稿しても誰も得しないのに、なぜこのルールを絶対化していたかというと
私の場合、変なところに時間をかけてずるずると投稿が遅くなりがちなので、せっかくご支援頂いてもダウンロード期限が僅かで間に合わず、皆様に残念な想いをさせてしまうことを回避したかったからです(活動1年目はそんなことばかりでした)。《※1補足説明あり》

また、締め切り効果を付けることでペースを作ったり、１作１作にキリを付けやすいことは、怠惰な私にとって大きなメリットでした。
なのでこれまでこのルールを守ってきたことは、ちゃんと意味があったと思っています。


しかし、活動開始から3年が経ち、自分のペースもできてきた現在
体調と健康を犠牲にしてまでもこれを続けるのは、今後の活動継続を困難にしかねず、本末転倒だと考えました。

実は「月末=徹夜」が状態化したせいで、それを踏まえたペース配分が当たり前になり、予想より時間がかかるとさらに徹夜して丸二日寝ないとか、滅茶苦茶なことをしていました。
コツコツが苦手で、短期集中が得意という自分の性格を逆手に取っていましたが、いつか無理が来るのはわかっていました。
どうやらそれが今のようです。
(本格的に体調を崩したわけではありませんが、危険信号のような症状がいくつか出始めました。)


そこで、完全にルールを撤廃するわけではありませんが、緩和することに致しました。

目標としては、これまで通り月末に投稿を間に合わせるように制作し
「もう無理！」となったら限界突破を目指さずに睡眠をとり、月をまたいで1日2日、遅くとも7日までに投稿するという形で、これからはやっていきたいと考えております。



なので、月によってはこれまで通り31日までに投稿されることもあれば、月をまたいで月始めに投稿されることもあります。過去動画化のタイミングはこれまでと同時期とお考え頂ければと思います。

もともと月末ギリギリ23時半以降の投稿が多い上に、翌月1日以降に修正点を直し更新することが状態化しているため、ご支援者様への影響はほぼ無いと言ってよいかと思います。

ややこしいので補足説明。
もともとは普通に、5月1日～31日までに投稿→6月から過去動画という投稿の仕方をしていました。
しかし、どうしてもずるずると31日付近まで時間がかかってしまうので、「なら過去動画化を7月にすれば問題解決！」という感じでこのルールが誕生しました。
そして、それを反則みたいな技を使ってでも絶対に守り通してきたのは、一度でもルールを破ると私は「まあ6月中に投稿すればいいや…」を繰り返し、すぐ振り出しに戻るのが目に見えていたからです。
でも今はもう、そうはならないと思うので、ルール緩和することにしました。

The conclusion is this.
I made my own rule that "post by the 31st of that month and treat it as a past video from the month after next (about one month later)", and I have continued it for two years.
In the future, I would like to change it to "Post from the 31st of the month to the 7th of the following month and treat it as a past video from the month after the next (about 3 weeks to 1 month later)".
(There is not much impact on supporters)


The reason is that I'm getting sick by forcing myself to use the rules, partly because my private life is busy now.

Even if I posted a video at 23:59 on the 31st, no one got it, so why did I make this rule absolute?
That's because I tend to slow down postings if I spend a lot of time sneaking into the details, so I wanted to avoid having an extremely short video download deadline.
There were many such problems in my first year of activity, and I made this rule. (* 1)

Also, it was a big advantage for me who was lazy that the pace of video posting was stabilized by this rule.
So it was worth it to me to follow this rule so far.


However, three years have passed since my activity started, and now I have somehow established my own pace.
Continuing this at the expense of my health can make it difficult for me to continue my activities in the future, so I thought it would be detrimental.

Actually, like every month, I was making videos all night at the end of the month. I often didn't sleep for a full two days, and each time it took me some time to recover my stamina.

I wasn't good at steadily, and I was good at short-term concentration, which suits my personality, but I knew that it would be impossible someday.
Apparently it's like it is now.
(I'm not heavy sickness, but some symptoms like warning signs have begun to appear on my body.)



So I haven't completely abolished the rule, but I decided to change it.

Basically, I will make it in time for posting at the end of the month as before.
However, when I feel "I can't do it anymore!", I want to sleep and post videos across the moon by 1st, 2nd, or 7th at the latest.



So, depending on the month, it may be posted by the 31st as before, or it may be posted at the beginning of the month across the month, but the timing of past video conversion is the same as before.
I would like you to think of it like this.

I think that there is almost no impact on the supporters.
This is because there have been many posts at the end of the month from before, and there were frequent corrections and updates in the following month.

It's complicated, so a supplementary explanation.
Originally, I usually posted from May 1st to 31st → from June, I used to post as a past video.
However, the posting date will be delayed and the download deadline will be shortened.
So, I thought that the problem would be solved if the video at the end of May was changed to the past video from July, and this rule was born.
And, even if I used a technique like a foul, I absolutely kept it through, once I broke the rule, I repeated "Well, I should post it in June ..." and immediately returned to the beginning. Was visible.
But now I don't think that's the case anymore, so I decided to change the rule.
