The "blue-haired paladin" is Kikotenshin Nekonyan, one of the "Six Great Gods" worshiped by the Slane Theocracy and one of the “Four Great Gods” (which is a deviation of the original religion of the Theocracy) worshiped by the rest of the human nations from Overlord. They were the first group of Yggdrasil Players sent to the New World, 600 years before Ainz and Nazarick to be exact. He was specifically revered as the God of Wind. We were supposed to learn more about him (most likely when Kazuma and Ainz were reading Head Researcher’s journal), but that was sadly left on the cutting room floor to shorten the movie’s runtime. Which is a shame, it would have been really cool for Ainz to have found that out. Because while he already had his suspicions in canon that the Six Great Gods and the Eight Greed Kings were in actuality Yggdrasil Players that had arrived in the New World prior to him, it would have been interesting to see his reaction to his hypothesis at least being partially confirmed. Plus, we‘ve already had a lot said and revealed about the Head Researcher and his role in the history of Konosuba’s world, while we rarely get to see or hear about previous Players in Overlord.
