Lugh literally only has 5 Skills, one for each rank from D to S; the Hero is spawned with 30 Skills, with AT LEAST 5 being S rank, while the rest are A rank minimum. This Rapid Recovery thingie is his only S-rank skill. Now imagine the Hero might have shit like Element Nullification as S-rank skill, making the person 100% immune to any magical attack. Now remember that the Hero has at least 4 more skills like that, perhaps even more. Spell Weaver is also an A-rank skill, so think of similar OPness skills for the max 25 other skills Also, the backwards thingie isn't actually how the magic works. It's just there to make it easier for the reader and the animation studio rly. He simply said "Create Gold", even tho based on the magic script, it actually utilizes atomic weight etc in the chant, yet he didn't say those, and it still worked. Thus we can assume it's just how they are displayed to us, rather than how the chants etc actually work from non-translated POV Lugh was also big brain af in the ending scene. He lobbed off her arm, so that she'd die with minimal pain due to adrenaline not wearing off before she bleeds out. Thus if she reacts like she did, nobody gives a fuck. But if she had reacted like a legit innocent person did, it could be ez tornique'd, and healing magic or w/e can be used to fix her up (minus an arm obviously, but she'd still live. Of course I have no idea what the highest tier healing magic can do however, so it might be possible to even re-attach an arm or w/e)
