Awesome I've been wanting to watch this hut haven't had the time to. Also did you guys forget about shield hero? I was reacting to it with you guys and my sister who hasn't actually seen it but you guys stopped at ep 1 and 2

Yes, the art is beautiful. :) And the reason it is called a BL is that the novel is showing more of it. But they censored the show quite heavily. So its more action, mystery. (Similar to attack on titans. A lot of questions, few answers when you want them :P) You might be a little bit confused in the beginning since you are introduced to a lot of characters. And they are doing a little shipping threw time. Starting with the past, then going to the present and at the end of episode 2 the past again. But basically, cultivators are people that train to build up spiritual powers (golden core) and uses them to vanquish evil creatures. They use the spiritual energy they have cultivated themselves. While the people doing demonic cultivation uses dark/negative energy. Each clan has their own rules and technics (you can see on there cloths and colours which sect they belong to.) There are some prominent clans (big, famous clans) that are most talked about. You will get used to who is who but it can be difficult in the beginning since everyone has like three names. Birth name, courtesy name, and the big shots have titels. So it's easy to get confused when they use different names for the same character. But I am glad you liked it and I hope you like the rest to. X)

Also, it was talked in the background of the 2 episode so I'm not sure if you caught it all, but the reason he was so shocked when he summoned Wen Ning (the ghost general) was because he was told to have been turned to dust and scattered back in the days. He was the Yiling Patriarch right hand essentially and is because of that a quite unic and famous ghoul. So that's why everyone were so chocked. The ghost general shouldn't exist anymore.

Understandable. But I am sure you will figure it out. I know a lot of people generally re-watch the two first episodes at the end of season 1. Sence you then have more content and can pick up on things that were missed. X) But I loved your reactions and I hope you will continue enjoying it. XD And..... As Chase mentioned there is a live action tv-drama of this show called "The Untamed". You also have the Donhua (anime 2 seasons, third coming next year, and chibi series (airing now), Manhua (manga), Audio drama and the original Novel. So it is quite a popular story. :)
