So here's some stuff from the light Novels. 1. Endo the invisible kid was so damn lackluster back in Japan some of the automatic doors at stores even failed to recognize his presence and wouldn't open for him. Pretty funny I think. 2. Something left out of the anime is the fact that Kaori the priestess is a closet Yandere. But only when it comes to Hajime. She was absolutely obsessed with him. To the point of stalking obsessed. I won't tell the story of why she loves him cause they might use it in the second season but there were scenes in the beginning when they were just sent to this world where Hajime just couldn't help but check out this cute maid. But when he did he felt a cold aura and fear at his back. Turning around he only found Kaori smiling at him. 3. The reason he doesn't care much about his class is also because of Kaori. You see. She was the class idol. Obsessed with him and he was the student who slept in class. He didn't try hard in school because he already knew his career path. His mother wrote manga and his father helped design video games and he'd helped both for years. He knew he'd be joining them in the otaku world so he didn't care about much at school. And the whole class saw Kaori's approaching Hajime as kindness and pity for the poor lost student. And either disapproved of him not respecting her or were jealous of her attention. So pretty much all of them except the swordswoman chick treated him badly. None but her recognizing the clueless class Idol was simply trying and failing to chat up the boy she liked.

Additional notes on the last two episodes during the fight he actually had two drone bits (floating shields with guns in them) protect the girls kaori and yeagashi (yue does protect the others with her dragon gravity magic, as miyu and tio actually stayed back in the town) ask if nagumo is now a new type( a reference to gundam) when he asks where they learnt that term, which causes the girls to reveal that they studied otaku culture so that kaori could get closer to nagumo. As for whether they make it back it's spoiler territory but there is a sequel with nagumo having returned to earth with everyone. And he doesn't lose his powers as far as I'm aware.
