As one of the Taos Six, a band of intrepid artists who traveled to, fell in love with and painted the American Southwest, Oscar E. Berninghaus captured scenes of Native People's lives with sensitivity and grace.  In preserving and conserving his painting it too will finally receive that same sensitivity and grace on the way to it's former glory.

P.S. sorry this one is a bit late today- It’s been a weekend of 10-year old birthday parties!!

Thanks Ronnee Fullerton, Amy Lewis and Lee for the assist with the title.  Y'all rock!

On the retouching easel you have, what appears to be, a color scale or grid. What exactly is that and how does it aid you, when it seems to be primaries, secondaries and maybe tertiaries. So what is it? Thanks.

My apologies if you've answered this before but when I see you impregnate the whole canvas with adhesive to bond loose paint you mention that that is a reversable process. How would you reverse that process when the canvas has been fully soaked in it? Thanks! Thoroughly enjoy the content.
