We're always taught to be different, to go against the current and define our own path.  This, by and large is sage advice but not without complexity. Blazing a new trail or being a maverick as it were, is exciting but can also lead to unexpected consequences for which the solution lies in, well, being a maverick as well.

This seems a little trivial, and we all know your disdain for staples, but since you know artist herself used staples when stretching this painting and they were not added by a later conservator, should this be a reason that you should also use staples in the conservation? Or does it not really matter, since that isn’t meant to be a focus of the completed work, and so using a better material is more important?

This is one of my favourite videos so far. I absolutely Love abstract art and it made it so fascinating when the client talked to you.
