I'll be honest with y'all...  By this point in the project I kind of was ready to take a few swings at this painting.  That said, with the end in sight it was just a matter of taking my time and keeping my composure.  This round we deal with finally, finally putting the image back together and a whole lot of retouching... phew!

The Brawler - Round 3 of 3 - AD FREE

Do any work long enough and a variety of projects will present themselves. Some will be fun, easy and memorable while others will be difficult, arduous and I suppose memorable for an all together different reason. But this variety keeps the work interesting, the skills sharp and ultimately makes it worthwhile. Sometimes however, a painting comes along that you know from the outset will be a tough one and will fight you all along the way. These are the fighters, the bruisers, the brawlers.

Hi Julian!! Sadly my question isn’t about this specific video, but a little while ago you mentioned you used to work with lithography? As a printmaker myself i would love to know more about your printmaking days!

Moin, that's north-german for somethin like hello. I try my question... Up to 3.14 there is a red spot on the leaf. Then you overpainted it. I'm sure, that it is right, but... Where does the spot come from? There is no spot in the beginning. I checked in all videos before and after cleaning and I don't see this spot. Uh, I hope, that is understandable enough and sorry, if this comes several times, I'm trying.... And btw: I'm so lucky to be here and are able to join your great videos and explanations. Have a good day!
