Computer woes (Patreon)

So. My computer arrived ...

Like Syx in a room full of horny men she was all plugged up!

Hit the power button and...

...

nothing.

Sigh.

After taking it apart and troubleshooting over the phone with the manufacturer I found that one of the plugs had come off the motherboard.

Re -plugged in and SUCCESS! It powers up!

But that's all...

It's not getting the Operating System. And so I take it apart again and that's when I discover the plastic around the SSD drive connectors have cracked off during shipping. And so the plugs won't stay on and its basically screwed.

Various attempts were made to try and fix to no avail so the manufacturer has to send another drive, meanwhile we have to report it busted during shipping for insurance claim. Have to take pictures and all kinds of other crap. And after a couple days I get another drive shipped to me.

Which was supposed to arrive last week Friday.

It did not.

I have to wait until Monday. (Today) So late in the afternoon I'm looking at the time and am like "Where the hell is this package!" So I call UPS and after waiting on hold for like 20 minutes and giving the details. and back on hold, rinse and repeat, Finally they tell me:

UPS: "We have the package here. You can come pick it up."

Me: "OR you can deliver it, like you were supposed to."

UPS: Oh uhh, yeah. Well let me check with the driver.

5 minute wait later

UPS: "Yeah they can deliver it tomorrow."

SIGH

So, I'm supposed to get the drive tomorrow. BUT then I'm gonna have to install the OS and crap like that. UGH!

I sincerely apologies for this.

I was thinking what I may try and do as a way of an apology for the delay in work is post the Full color pages from the Side Story that I've just started on Manaworldcomics. Featuring a new character Roxy.

I will try and post these Monday where they will not be posted on the Manaworld site until Friday. At least this way if you are a member of the site you get it a few days early and if you are not at least you are getting a new full color comic.

As soon as I'm able I will try and finish up that TJ or BJ page as well as some others I've been working on.
