This Month’s Poll for the Commissioned Pioneer Tier! (Patreon)

Hello Commissioned Pioneers!

I hope everyone's having a very happy holidays! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years to all of you! I really hope all of you are doing well! In the spirit of the festive season, I’m here yet again to sit down for a chat! Last month was definitely an interesting time as we had the gang going back and forth with each other, revealing more about their homes and their realms! It was definitely fun to write, but what’s certainly more fun than that is writing Emma’s Earth reveal chapters as they’ve been a blast to explore!

In addition to that, I’ve started to embrace a few of the new changes on Patreon, the biggest one being the new “Collections” tabs that you might’ve noticed! I’m trying my best to organize things for the Commissioned Pioneer tier now, as I’m collecting all of the bonus stories and all of the bonus content for the tier into a folder you guys can easily access! So you can check that out now by heading on over to the collections tab and clicking on the folder there! :D

Beyond that, I really do have to apologize for the wait for this month’s bonus story. I mentioned this in the announcement earlier, but my shifts this month are fixed in such a way that it left me with very little wiggle room which I need in order to write. Because of this, I needed to take more time to write the bonus story, resulting in it releasing a little later than when I would've preferred. 

So thank you guys for being so kind and so patient with me on this. And thank you to all of you for sticking with me through all of this. I know I’ve said this a lot before but I genuinely do mean it every time I say it. You guys and your support have made a massive and palpable impact on my life. You’ve changed it towards a direction I never thought was possible. So thank you guys, to each and every one of you. I can’t begin to express how much I’m grateful for all of your support. You guys truly mean the world to me.

You've made this silly little writer's days just so much more brighter.

As always though, the new month calls for another round of votes!

So let's get right into the task at hand!

You guys should already see the Monthly Short Story for November already up and live! Last month you guys voted for Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School's eleventh side story!

We head back to Earth again, however this time we explore a character that’s only been mentioned in passing, and whose screentime was limited to Emma’s recollections of her! It’s an Aunty Ran bonus story, and I’m both excited but also nervous about it! :D I’ve always wanted to explore more about her character, especially as she’s had such a massive impact on Emma’s upbringing. However because of the type of person she is, with her military background, her independent streak, but also her desire to make sure she’s the best parent she can be for Emma, I wasn’t too sure if I was able to balance things right in order to do her character justice. I really hope I was able to do so haha, since she’s such a formative element to Emma’s backstory and upbringing. Aside from that, the story also focuses a bit on the family and Christmas Holiday spirit! And in addition, we also get a bit of a glimpse into the life of the average joe on Earth in Emma’s era! :D

Now, onto this month's poll for December's Short Story!

For those of you who are new Commissioned Pioneers, here's a little description of just how the polls work:

Every new month, each person in the Commissioned Pioneer tier gets 1 vote for one of the four story concepts listed in the poll. The poll will be posted sometime during the first week of every new month. Voting will last until the last day of that month and the story itself will be released sometime during the first week of the next month!

This is so that everyone has ample time to vote across the entirety of the month, and so that I have time to write up the story for the new month!

However, there might be some changes following this month, as I may have to extend the bonus story’s posting period to anywhere from the start to the end of the month in order to make sure I have time to write it alongside the main story. 

And of course, as most of you guys are here for Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School, as well as Humans Don't Hibernate, this month's poll will again include an option for additional side story opportunities for these two universes! :D
