This Month’s Poll for the Commissioned Pioneer Tier! (Patreon)

Hello Commissioned Pioneers!

I hope all of you are doing well! Well, it’s that time again, as another month dawns upon us! I’d of course like to take the time to sit down for another talk with you guys. Last month was definitely an interesting one as we saw the story diving into resolving the fallout of Ilunor’s dealings with the creation of what is effectively a new long-term quest that has the best interest of both parties in mind, as well as the potential for some greater branching shenanigans as the story progresses! Aside from that, the coat of fresh paint that is the new look of Patreon seems to be stabilizing now! So thank you guys for being patient with me on that front! I genuinely really do appreciate the patience you guys have shown me.

Beyond that though, I can’t thank you guys enough for sticking with me through all of these changes as well as all of these story beats. I know I’ve said this a lot already, but even as I’m typing this, I genuinely mean it every time I say it. You guys and your support have genuinely made a massive and undeniable impact on my life, changing it towards a direction I never thought was possible. A direction I can't fully begin to express my gratefulness for. So thank you, to each and every one of you. You guys truly mean the world to me.

You've made this silly little writer's days just so much more brighter.

As always though, the new month calls for another round of votes!

So let's get right into the task at hand!

You guys should already see the Monthly Short Story for October already up and live! Last month you guys voted for Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School's tenth side story!

We head back to Earth this time, as this bonus story takes place just under a year prior to the events of Emma’s story! I got to explore a lot of things I’ve always wanted to explore with this story, including a few glimpses into just what life is like on Earth in Emma’s era, as the perspective this time around allows for more of a wider field of view to work with; especially for places in the setting we don’t often get to see! I’ve always wanted to imbue my stories, especially my interpretations of humanity, with a sense of optimism when it comes to the future. Emma’s future is no exception and I really hope I managed to do it justice! Beyond the worldbuilding elements regarding Emma’s world as a whole though, we also got some answers for a few things not fully explored in the story yet! This includes the location of the IAS’ portal facility, as well as some more mentions of quintessence! 

We also got to see a few references back to two prior bonus stories. That being An Interview With An Author, and I Woke Up To A Burning World. So I do recommend you guys check that out if you haven’t already!

Now, onto this month's poll for November's Short Story!

For those of you who are new Commissioned Pioneers, here's a little description of just how the polls work:

Every new month, each person in the Commissioned Pioneer tier gets 1 vote for one of the four story concepts listed in the poll. The poll will be posted sometime during the first week of every new month. Voting will last until the last day of that month and the story itself will be released sometime during the first week of the next month!

This is so that everyone has ample time to vote across the entirety of the month, and so that I have time to write up the story for the new month!

And of course, as most of you guys are here for Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School, as well as Humans Don't Hibernate, this month's poll will again include an option for additional side story opportunities for these two universes! :D
