Hello Commissioned Pioneers!

Alright so I've been working on this for a little while now and I think it's time for yet another Bonus Content drop! And once again we're looking at some of the internal correspondences of the IAS' back on Earth!

As with the last internal correspondence, what this is, is effectively a sort of an in-universe document, meant to help expand the universe of Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School as well as to help provide greater context for what's going on back on Earth and beyond! It's a way for me to tell more stories outside of the scope of the main story! :D

This time around we're seeing the project during its final stretch just under a year before Emma's departure!

This document in particular details the nitty gritty office politics and internal policymaking processes of the IAS. I wanted to demonstrate just how the UN and its civil service works in the Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School universe! As I've mentioned here or there a few times, I've always wanted to portray a competent, reasoned, mature, and professional government. With all of the aspects one would expect from an organization this wide in reach and large in scale.

In this case we get to see a few hints of humanity's greater policies at play out there beyond the scope of the story, but likewise just how many legal loopholes had to be jumped in order to get Emma through that portal! The particular subject being addressed here is the legality of Emma's habitation and whether or not it's actually compliant with UN regulations, with the solution simply being its deferral to the military which has a different set of regulations for its personnel. However all of this is worded in a long winded manner as is expected from such large organizations! :D

Anyways, I really do hope you guys enjoy it, because I find it really fun to explore more aspects of the story beyond what we usually see! :D

Again this is very much experimental, and it's just something new I'm trying! I'll only write this so long as I have the time to do so, as I don't want it to interfere with the quality of the main story! :D

Never thought I’d see something like this: Emma didn’t like the idea of living in the suit, and neither does the group that issued this document Very interesting and colorful worldbuilding: not everything has to be super flashy or suspenseful to be worth discussion

Thank you! That's exactly one of the aspects I wanted to convey with this document! These little snippets into the larger world are aspects of the series that I really do enjoy writing. It sort of shows you the deeper, inner workings of the UN in a way that doesn't necessarily spells out or directly telegraphs their intentions or values but more or less shows it in action. The very fact that this document was written in universe implies that there's a lot of internal auditing going on, which shows that there's a good level of interdepartmental oversight with individuals in positions of power who hold their ethics and values close to their heart and acts upon it when they feel like something has to be addressed. I wanted to paint a more utopian image of the future, of humanity and the UN. That's what these snippets are also attempting to convey, so I'm so glad that you enjoyed this one and the manner in which it is presented! :D I really do appreciate the comments and feedback here. This style of writing is one that I used to do a lot before, so I'm glad that there are people who see it as interesting enough to comment on and provide feedback to! Thank you so much again for the comment! :D
