Hello Commissioned Pioneers!

I hope everyone’s month has been going well! :D Well, it’s that time again. I’d like to sit down and talk to you guys about a few things. First off, the story! We’re really getting to see just how different each professor is and how different their teaching styles can be! Beyond that, we’re also starting to see more of how class dynamics work, how these different characters outside of the main gang are asserting themselves and their dynamics, as well as more fun side shenanigans for Emma to deal with as she works her way back towards her objectives! It’s going to be a fun ride as we explore more of Emma and the rest of the gang as they deal with all the Academy has to offer! 

Secondly, I’d just like to say thank you to you guys again for sticking with me and my stories.  

This month has been… an intense battle. I won’t get too much into it because I don’t want to sour the mood or the post but suffice it to say, I’m currently trying my best to keep my family home from being taken from me. It’s a long story, but the short of it is that I’ve been faced with a dilemma by the apartment owner to either buy or to be evicted. I’m trying everything I can to do the former, since this place has become a home of nearly a decade for me and my mom, and it’s the only home I’ve known for most of my teen and adult life. I just can’t bear losing it and the consequences that will come as a result. 

Suffice it to say, the situation has been much more manageable thanks to your guys’ support. And I know I’ve said this multiple times already, but this time, it really rings more true than ever: thank you guys, for literally changing my life for the better. I can’t express how much I appreciate you guys being here, and I can only hope I can express my appreciation and return that good will by writing the best stories I can for all of you. 

These stories have been a place for my mind to be engaged in something creative that I can truly invest myself into and feel happy and proud of doing. It’s something I’m truly passionate about, and something that’s been a way for me to express myself freely in a way that would be difficult to do irl.  

The fact you guys are here for the ride, and to see what silly little adventures I create, truly does mean the world to me. It just means so much that you guys enjoy seeing these glimpses into my characters and my worlds, and I can’t express just how much joy that sparks in me. 

So thank you guys. 

You've made this silly little writer's days just so much more brighter.

You guys should already see the Monthly Short Story for February already up and live! Last month you guys voted for Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School's fourteenth side story!

This time I’m doing something a little different, as we dive into a character origin story for one of our newly introduced professors - Professor Articord! :D 

Professor Articord has been a character that I’ve been dying to explore since I drew up plans for the story and its cast of characters. So I’m glad to finally be showing you guys a glimpse into their character and their backstory! And I really hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did writing it! :D 

Now, onto this month's poll for February’s Short Story!

For those of you who are new Commissioned Pioneers, here's a little description of just how the polls work:

Every new month, each person in the Commissioned Pioneer tier gets 1 vote for one of the four story concepts listed in the poll. The poll will be posted soon after the release of the previous month’s bonus story. Voting will last for about three to four weeks following the poll’s release. This is so that everyone has ample time to vote across the entirety of the month, and so that I have time to write up the story for the new month!

And of course, as most of you guys are here for Wearing Power Armor to a Magic School, as well as Humans Don't Hibernate, this month's poll will again include an option for additional side story opportunities for these two universes! :D
