Definitely a sister album to Folklore, Evermore has a lot of similarities but a few hidden gems also. Enjoy :)

Fun fact (for lack of better words) Taylor and Joe wrote Champagne Problems together & it’s about how she turned down his marriage proposal. I don’t know if that happened with them in real life but, from a few other songs as of late, I’m thinking that Joe didn’t want to marry her. 💔😭💔 coincidentally, this song is the only one that I saw her get teary eyed about during the Eras Tour videos.

I will have to listen to her other albums to have a better comparison a bit. I like Folklore more just because more songs resonated with me from that one. Didn't know about Joe and her writing Champagne problems together, and it suck big time if he didn't want to marry her, especially when they were together for how long, 6-7 years? No wonder she would get teary eyed...

Yes, definitely. The line of, “I wouldn’t marry me either, a pathological people pleaser” from “You’re Losing Me” just kind of hit me like a lead balloon and why I believe that it’s the case for them falling apart. On a side note, “Tolerate It” she was inspired by a classical book called “Rebecca”. I think my favorite albums are 1989, Reputation, Folklore, Evermore, Lover, and Midnights in that order. 😊 https://youtu.be/irn5D2e9ado?si=-AQ7Zpqm_KB8KGwa
