I took your advice and watched the full backstory-video about Dimashes performance. Very intense stuff... I can't believe how well he did dispite the issues he had, just crazy!

Just finished and yes, a great way to relax after a day at work!! Thank you first of all for watching Dimash's backstory - I do think it's important to know he was sick and had no voice as it truly (for me) adds to the emotions and quite frankly his courage and dedication to his "job" to go out and sing like he did. He actually did say in an interview that he had no voice before walking on the stage and it was only by the grace of Allah that he was able to sing as when he came back off the stage his voice was gone again. Yes, his Bastua performance is more dynamic because he was healthy but for me this performance takes hold of my heart more (knowing he was sick). I do agree I was pretty shocked he ended up down in 5th place. I would have thought a Chinese song would have boosted him up some (as we've seen sometimes the songs they already know seem to score higher even if not sung "better"). I did love this performance from the Lions (and I agree Deborah I wish Jam would sing with his eyes open more). Don't feel bad about your Bastau reaction - it was great!!! I do sometimes truly wish though reactors would find out the backstory for a couple of his songs before watching so you can understand the "why" of his emotions he so strongly puts into them. Autumn Strong is another song that it's so helpful to know the backstory of the song. This was a great way to spend time after work -- THANK YOU!!

Glad you liked the episode so much! Anytime you want me to check out the back story, just let me know! Is he singing Autumn strong in the next one or? I know Sandy sung that one, but it was cut out of the episode if I recall. I agree that this one has more impact because we know the condition in which he was singing.. I'm still shocked that he pulled it off and did an amazing job! I also thought that singing a Chinese song would help him rank higher... and finally, THANK YOU for watching and commenting this with me! This is one or my favourite activities hhh. PS, if it's not a secret, what do you do, what's your job? You don't have to answer if it's too personal, just curious :)

Dimash sang Autumn Strong in Episode 4 (his first song to ever sing in Mandarin and he does it in a singing competition in China, in front of a chinese audience, who are your judges!) 🤷‍♀️😂❤🤗❤ A big part of watching these full episodes for me is seeing the support and relationships created amongst the competitors and their comments....I love that. You'd never see that here in the US on a Singing competition show. P.S. I'm a Veterinary Technician at a Veterinary Specialty Clinic (all Board Certified Veterinary Specialists) in Florida 😊.

Ah right, he already sang it! Yes, the support between the artists and even the organizers of the show, and the band, and even the crowd is just amazing. No envy or backstabing. A veterinary specialist, awesome! We have a family dog called Johnny and me and Ana have ours called Betty. I might post pictures of them if you guys want to know that sort of stuff. That's what Patreon is for after all, to get to know eachother better and build a nice community! 😁❤️🎵 ps. We are with Maggie on her first day at sea, so I'll probably post something about that tomorrow
