Loved your reaction and comments! BTW: In the beginning they were talking about "Weibo" that is the Chinese Socialmedia like Facebook. I think the reason the "Chengdu" song got such votes is because that is a very popular Chinese folk song performed by the original artist. As you said judging music is subjective and the crowd enjoyed a song they already knew and loved over ones that they didn't. I actually agreed on 100% of your assessments on who should have won though. (Based on how many tears I cried per song) :) Well done... keep it up!

Thank you so much for explaining what Weibo is, had no idea. Unfortunately, wining a show like this requires smart choices in picking songs. Not sure how much say do the singers have, but more popular songs done in an interesting way are definitely more likely to get votes. Very very hard to stay completely objective here, as I said, there are musical things that can be judged objectively, but sometimes the feel/subjective things, heck, even looks can play a big role. That's why I'm always a bit sceptical about these kind of competitions, but I enjoy the whole process nevertheless, nothing is ever perfect. So glad you enjoyed this, hope you stick around for more :) I do these once every week. Hopefully I will get a chance to post more reactions as well over the summer. Thanks again, take care! ;)
