Hoy here we are

Workflow:

I... didn't really shine on the worl last week, started the comics page but then.. Baldur's Gate 3 happened, and.. it's kinda hard to get myself out of it once i'm in it.
So what i do now is i don't play until i've worked a bit. Worked well for the one day i put it to work, so gonna be my new standard until the massive HARD drug they call a game get out of my system.
So plan is, like last week, do comics do comm, then only patreon reward for the rest of the month (and the monthly sketch 42 to do indeed)
Now, drawin tau booba. A mans gotta eat after all

Baldur's gate 3 (no spoiler)

Promess, no spoiler.
So what is my opinion after 45h of play (in 4 days.. i know)
First of all, game isn't perfect. Peoples always use superlatives, but it have flaws. Bugs on a firt hand, not game breaking bugs, but i found at least 3 that made me reload a save from 40 minutes ago. Once a character vanished after a boss battle, like, not dead, not in the camp, nowhere, just vanished out of the game.
Also had this time when a dialogue started to boot and a cinematic too, but my main character was not included in for some reasons, and the dialogue options never appeared, just a screen of the opponent as he waited my answer that would never come.

So bugs, and what else? Some rolls, like i remember a 3 set of the same rolls back to back, same difficulty, and for some reasons the buff i had applied to me never worked (dunno if a bug or intended there). Or you're best friend with a character the whole game and they love you, but still, need a dc30 roll to make them listen to you at one point.
That is stuff i don't like when a GM force it on me in a tabletop rpg, i think it's lazy writing of the GM. Or the roll to roll is a proof of "i want you to fail this but i don't want to say it out loud". And that is .. somehow also a good part of the game

What i hate in it is actually stuff i hate in tabletoping with friends too. The game isn't like playing with friends, far from it. But it's the closest to that feeling that i ever been in a pc game. The thing is full with potential, and not only combat wise. Once i wanted to be sure an ennemy wouldn't gather reinforcement if attacked, so i blocked the path to the alarm drums with stuff like barrels and  other chairs and it worked. That's the type of crazy shits you can do with friends. Even if, i think stabing the said drums with your knife would have been a nice option too X)
So the game is great, and the little i got against are like those little nitbit in a big canvas.
I really enjoy playing it, and a part of me whant to remake one character later on just for doing an evil run!

Baldur's gate 3 (with spoilers)

So, i love the game, it got issues, but it's good. What are some of the things i loved to play with? For starter my character is Cornelia, you know my sister of battle oc.
Did something close, as a mage who love burning stuff, and gave her the DARK URGE starting lore. Mean she is taken by a dark urge to slaughter and destrou peoples.
In my play i try to avoid that or resist this urge. Means a shits tons of save throw to resist the thing and not kill some major npc. Tough, the whole thing was thinked over by the developers, and you can actually try to redeem yourself and not bath in blood. Personaly, didn't finished it yet, but those might be sign that the character is another Baahl Spawn, like the character in first game.
Might be wrong, but could make senses for me. I ll see if it's what happen, but could be fun. Romancing Lae Zel. Seemed the more logical for Cornelia story wise ot pick the unforgiving zealots warior. Closest things to a sister of battle there ;D
My brother is becomeing fan of the game too, and we're talking about doing a new game together later on. Talk was playing a clan of racist dwarves, hating anything that dont relish in their dwarvitude. Just for the fun of it.
Dunno if we would, but, the idea is fun.

That's about it, sorry again for lack of works, and c ya soon!
