I'm back.. at my home

Workflow:

Ok first, i'm still in holliday. Decided i would take a whole week, i came back from my mom, had to, got an appointment at administration to redo my ID (yeah.. every 15 years... ama old) so, had to be back
But i ll enjoy a few more days of hollidays and come back thursday, slowly, to work.
So once i'm back, what to expect? I got 2 new comms i accepted, but first, and before all, i want to advance on patreon stuff. So, this end of week ll work on the march rewards! And then work on last part of the T'au thing!
I think the 3 last days of the week ll be enough to finish the March rewards, as it's mostly Elite sketchs this time.
Took a decision to finaly get more easy on the HQ rewards like i had said i would, ll still add shade and light, but more parcimonious, wanna let my draw talk a bit more on those ^^
That's about it, was 4 nice day at my mom place, you can go on the discord, i posted some patisserie i cooked there =)

old manga stuff.

At my mom i found back some old manga i had. Not from my teen years, from way later, when i broke up with my fiancee i had to stash some stuff at my mom, cause new flat was way smaller.
So i stashed some of my manga, and forgot about it. But recently she told me she had to push some out and as my home now is big enough to get a new library case, i told i would pick them back
I didn't took all, there's quite a lot.
But got backj some that are funny to find back
Dance in the vampire bund is one of those. I didn't even remembered this shit existed back then =D, what it is? You remember all those arguments like "she's not a 10 years old, she's a vampire of 200 but is trapped in a 10 yo body"?
Well the whole manga is this basicly. Protagonist is a werewolf that protect the vampire queen, wich look like a 11yo blond girl, and indeed they're in love and it's the whole vampire aren't the bad guy type of manga.
The drawing ain't that good tbh, and a lot of characters turn out quite flat .. but i dunno, despite anything it kinda work. but after a few tome i get bored and never bought the end.
Fruit basket is another story. It's, to this day, one of my favorite manga series.
So.. let's talk about it! =D

Fruit Basket: 

To resume, the story follow Thoru. She's a young girl that recently loosed her mother in a car accident. Her grandpa isn't sane enough to keep her in, and her uncles are like "not my daughter not my problem". So she live alone in a tent. One day she is discovered by the peoples who own the land she is living in (illegaly) They're from the Soma clan. Those are wealthy aristocrats type of peoples, and own actually quite a bit bunch of the local area. One of the person discovering her is actually a classmate, Yuki. The 1st of the class type of guy, over achiever, little prince, etc etc.
But Thoru, and 2 other Soma clan peoples living here got a secret. One of the reason the Soma clan is so wealthy is that they are blessed.... but not all of those. Some got a sort of curse, when hugged by someone of the opposite sex, or when they faint, or if they  are overwhelmed by emotions, they ll turn in one of the animals of the chinese astrological sign. The cat become a cat, the rat a rat etc etc.
It's a bit sily, but what make Fruit basket good is that it goes deep into the thing. Like, "ahah, you turn into a rat if a woman hug you" means as a young boy, your mother could never hold you in her arms. Means you could never get hugged by your own mom. Some parents get disgusted by having "get birth" to monsters or freaks. Most of the sign peoples ended as highly disturbed persons, often locked on to be sure their "abnormality" isn't shown.
It's a story about love, acceptance, forgiveness, pain and joy.
I.. was reading it at a period of my life when it wasn't fun, and it kinda helped.
Why did it end in my mom place then? Reason is, i don't own the first 10 tomes... cause my fiancee had them, i had bought the rest of the serie, when we split, she kept hers... and the rest inda reminded me a lot of her, at a time i didn't needed that.
Now, water have flow, i got over it. It's life, but Fruit Basket is still a serie i enjoy deeply, and i recomand you to drop an eye on it. Also don't really mind the drawing quality, it's eratic, and for a good reason. The artist had to go to surgery for her drawing hand. So she had to stop working.. but she refused, she instead relearned to draw, from her left hand. So, it's kinda an inspiring serie for that too ^^
