Hello folks! A little info note about money and the current inflation

I'll open commission next month, but i want to tell you, i updated my prices!

You'll tell me:

"but why?"

Well  simple, last time i did it was when i decided to change my price from $ to €. Was for different reason, the first was to avoid the HUGE currency change fee from paypal when i transfer the money to my bank!

So i went for exmple from 90$/character in colours to 85€.

Why 85€ ? cause at that time, 85€=100$

BUT, as you might know, a war happened in the last month, and inflation started to stab europe in the ribs.

And now 1€=1$...

So it's logical for me to make my price higher :/

So, here is the Updated price sheet:

Also not that it make the patreon reward system WAY less worthy for me on the money part ^^ was ok so far, but if the problem get worse, might have to do further change on that part :/

I rather not, but, i rather be able to pay my rent and my bill and eat toon so.. que sera sera

For exemple, right now, a draw i would facture 100€ as commission i make them for 50€ reward

So... yeah, quite the discount ^^

Might change it the other way, like making them with a quite simpler light and shade to compensate. As long as it's faster to do and don't cut too much quality, might be an actual good solution for me. I think i might just test and see how it look

Voila for the info

As you know, i prefer to be 100% crystal clear about what i do and WHY i do it

so it's why i talk of it now =)

thanks for the understanding and reading this far!

I think for the rewards, to make them take less time for you, cell shade would be good instead of the rendered shading, like you said?

darkminou

not really tbh. I'm quick on the render part. And not as used as cell shading. And cell shading ask you to be precise, so.. take pretty much the same amount of time tbh. What take the most time on the colour is actually the flat
