Weekly Talk 104 (2 years mark) (Patreon)

Hello there!

First, thanks for the last two years, as the 104 week is the 2 consecutive years of weekly talk mark. And it's also last weekly talk of 2020!
This patreon been open for way longer than that, but it's been 2 years i decided to try to live of my drawing. it's not Easy everytime, i'm not that effective everytime. But it's something that is way easier with your support.
So for all of you and your support, be it for 5 years or for 1 month, thanks for taking the time, and making me feel like worth of your support ^^

Workflow:

I'm coming back, and i got 2 parties this week. The 31 and tomorow, the one tomorow being with friends that are just passing through my city and i didn't see in 2 years. All to say begining of the week ll be a bit tight on time! X)
So what's planned first is the New years eve picture. I'm not sure if i do a complex one, or a series of sketch (like the secret santa for exemple). I ll start it this morning, just after i finish it, and i guess i'll just see how it rolls. Initial plan was sister Jeanne with anal beads, but might change it a bit, not sure. Again should maybe lower my expectation to focus on the important X)
Than i got 2 simple colors, 1 sketch, 3 full colors on the way. Plus the actual CYOA. To be fair, wanted to give you all a surprise starting the 2 january, but wouldn't be fair to add stuff to that list. So i'll keep my lil project in mind and push it for later.
SO this week : New year eve picture, then sketchs, then finishing one of the simple color at least, and work in one of the full color!

New Year resolutions:

Got 2 , one is private =D
The other one is about the job.
I just want to be more disciplined in my work. So far i kinda sucked at it. I mean, this year i've been productive. Was not a bad year, learned lot of stuff. Still learning new tricks. But i'm on a good motion there. Now i just want to be disciplined and work 6 h a day on drawing.
Seems stupid said like that, but, most pro artist i like got this in comon, at one point, you gotta ask yourself what you like, and learn that waiting for the envy or motivation isn't enough to make it a living. That discipline yourself to work in a more steady way is the best way to progress as an artist, and as a pro.
This year i disciplined myself enough to draw when i didn't felt like it. To do the stuff when it needed to.
This year i want to learn to sit my ass, take my pen and draw. Not necessarly commissions, or planed work every day. Sometimes just sketching and training is enough. But doing it!
Cause when you work alone on your machine, there's no one behind your back to tell you to get to work, exept yourself, and i wanna learn to do it right.

Naheulbeuk Dungeon:

If you're French, geek, and above 30, you know of Naheulbeuk. Between 20 to 30, good chance you heard of it.
So what is it? At first it's what we used to call a mp3 saga. It's literaly a Radio Drama but online. In France a lot of them became quite known and famous in the early 2000. Many were sci fi or fantasy type, and most were highly humoristic in nature. One of the first to get success was Dungeon of Naheulbeuk by John Lang (aka penofchaos).
It's a serie about a group of adventurer that get into a dungeon to steal a cursed totem to the DungeonMaster. But everything ll quickly get off hand and turn completly stupid. Being it the elf friendly firing each time she shoot an arrow, the wizard that know only 3 spells, in the end of the dongon they learned that if they had went straigh at the first corridor they would have been in the Dungeon Master bedroom directly (but adventurer NEVER go straigh) or the barbarian punching around and killing any npc encountered, even the few friendly one.
The stuff was famous, and get adapted into comics, extended with books, and John Lang, a musician by formation, creating a fake bard band of the universe, playing silly proto-fantasy song.
All to say, it's known, and famous! Got a large crowd of fans, including myself. And a game was released several weeks ago. At that time i couldn't buy it, already too many games eating my time X)
But this christmas, my lil brother gifted it to me.. and to be honest... kinda like it a lot. In French they used lot of the original radio drama voices, and added lot of quite known actors.
All to say, it's fun to play. The gameplay is quite good. It's a turn based rpg à la Xcom series fight. Mean your chars got 2 action per turn, one being an action, the other to move. You can hit/use a comp/get in overwatch/or defensive stance then move, or move and do whatever of the above.
Game is quite hard in the harder difficulties. Forcing you to really think stuff like placing your heroes and flanking the ennemy right.
All to say, it's a pleasure to play so far, and quite happy to be able to play it!
I would recomand, even if you dunno the Radio Drama, cause it was fully translated, and seems quite good in english too!
